to dance,like no one appreciate to sing, like no one listen to to work, like no need of money to life, like today is the end. ——Alfred D’Souza 常常，我们会觉得自己很不走运。有时候深觉怀才不遇。瞧，某某小人正在得志，某某蠢材混得人五人六。论才华、论能力、甚至论外表都和自己差N个级别的张三、李四和王五，居然也出人头地了，而自己所向往的美好未来，依旧连拿望远镜也望不到……有时候，我们都会不自觉地自艾自怜。回望走过的这一段人生，虽没有小白菜般凄惨的童年，可是成长的历程那也是一把辛酸泪。凄风苦雨没少经历，人情冷暖似乎饱尝其味，然而，苦是吃尽了，甘却怎么也等不到。于是仰天长叹，比任何人都先一步同情自己来了。
是啊，世界上幸福的人那么多，为何不能带上我一个呢？可是，你有没有真正想过，世界上幸福的人究竟有几个？而你，会不会实际上已经身处其中，但自己却浑然不觉呢？
不妨，让我来看看这样的数字吧。假如将全世界的人们按一个100人的村庄按比例来计算的话，那么，这个村庄将有：57名亚洲人、21名欧洲人、14名美洲人（包括拉丁美洲）、8名非洲人、52名女人和48名男人、30名白人和70名非白人、30名基督教徒和70名非基督教徒、89名异性恋和11名同性恋、6人拥有全村财富的89%，而这6人均来自美国、80人的居住环境不理想、70人为文盲、50人营养不良、1人正在死亡、1人正在出生、1人拥有电脑、1人拥有大学文凭。
如果我们以这种方式去认识世界，那么，你还会觉得自己总是最倒霉的一个吗？也许，忍耐、理解与宽容就变得再简单不过了。所以啊，请牢牢记住下列的数字和信息：
*如果今天早上你起床时身体健康，没有疾病，那么你比其他几百万人更幸运，他们之中有些人甚至不一定能看到明天的太阳
*如果你从未尝试过战争的可怕，牢狱的孤独，酷刑和传染病的折磨，以及饥饿的煎熬，那么你的处境至少比其他5亿人都更好
*如果你能随便进出教堂或寺庙而没有遭受任何威吓、暴行和杀害的危险，那么你比其他30亿人更走运
*如果你的冰箱里有食物可吃，身上有衣物蔽体，有房可住并且有床可睡，那么你比世上75%的人更为富有
*如果你在银行里有存款，钱包里有票子，盒子里有零钱，那么你属于世上8%受幸运之神眷顾的人
*如果你父母双全，没有离异，那么你的确是为数不多的幸运者
*如果你能看懂这些文字，那么你刚刚得到了一个双重的祝福，因为有人想到了你，而你并不属于那另外20亿文盲中的一个
*如果你同时拥有以上这些条件，那么能赶上你的幸福之人就更是少之又少了。
所以，请记得：在这个世界上，原来你是这么幸福的一个。去努力工作吧，就像仅仅为了爱好，而不是为了挣钱一样；去学着爱和宽容吧，就像不曾受过任何一点伤害一样；去好好生活吧，就像这世界便是天堂一样。
We always convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, than another. Then we are frustrated that the kids arent old enough and well be more contet when they are. After that were frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. we will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We always tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together. when we get a nice a car, and are able to go on a nice vocation. when we retire. the truth is, theres no better time than right now. if not now, when? our life will always be filled with challenges. Its best to admit this to ourselves and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred Souza. He said."for a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin-real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, someting to be gotten through firest, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment that you have. And remember that time waits for no one. So stop wailting until you finish school, until you go back to school; until you get married, until you get divorced; until you have kids; until you retire; until you get a new car or home; until spring; until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy…. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So, Work like you don‘t need money, Love like you‘ve never been hurt, And dance like no one‘s watching. |
